The Philippines is home to more than 300 species of edible fruits and nuts but only 20 to 30 species are considered as important. This blog aims to bring awareness on the different species that can be found in the country. Many of the species are endemic to our country and some of them have good economic potentials. Unfortunately, a lot of these native species are already being threatened by extinction. Once they are gone, they are gone forever...
